VP of Partner Relationships
Rebecca Henriksen is an enthusiastic leader with extensive expertise in all aspects of enrollment management for higher education. She is a student-centered, data-driven decision maker with nearly 30-years of experience in both for-profit and non-profit sectors.
Prior to joining Synergis Education, Rebecca was the of Dean of Enrollment, Advising, and Student Services for the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS) where she was a member of the Academic Affairs Group and Institute Leadership Group. Before her time at MIIS, Rebecca was the Vice President of Marketing, Enrollment, and Student Services for Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona. She led the development of thoughtfully designed, professional, comprehensive enrollment management systems at both schools, including the implementation of strategic Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
Rebecca spent 23-years in a variety of positions with the Apollo Group/Institute for Professional Development (IPD), her last position being Vice President of Marketing and Enrollment. Rebecca was also a Regional Vice President and Contract Director and led the start-up of William Penn University’s successful West Des Moines campus.
Rebecca serves on the Board of Directors for AIESEC USA, the world’s largest student-run organization. AIESEC provides a platform for youth leadership development and global citizenship. She is a certified yoga teacher, an active yoga practitioner, and an amateur painter. She has been married to Mark Henriksen for 31 years and has two daughters, two dogs, and one cat.
Rebecca earned her BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Speech Communications from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and her MS in Management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In her role of Associate Vice President of Client Services, Rebecca collaborates with partner institution colleagues to ensure successful enrollment outcomes while honoring each partner’s unique mission and vision and each student’s unique goals and needs.
