Synergis Education Announces Expanded Partnership with Gwynedd Mercy University
PHOENIX, Ariz. (April 21, 2014) – Synergis Education, a premium educational services provider, has signed an extended partnership agreement with Gwynedd Mercy University (GMercyU). Under the new expanded contract, Synergis will now provide services for all on-ground degree programs offered through the University’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies. Additionally, Synergis will work collaboratively with the University to extend the delivery option of the current Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program to an Accelerated BSN program.
Gwynedd Mercy University, with an enrollment of nearly 3,000 students, is a comprehensive, Catholic institution located in Gwynedd Valley, PA, with additional locations in Philadelphia, Bensalem and Plymouth Meeting, PA.
Synergis began its partnership with GMercyU in September 2012, providing the University with marketing, enrollment and retention services, as well as assistance in developing its online programs.
“Our organizations share a common and entrepreneurial spirit that embraces program excellence and innovation in education,” says Norm Allgood, Founder and CEO, Synergis Education. “Dr. Owens and her leadership team understand that they have to constantly look for unique opportunities to extend the density of their footprint throughout the Philadelphia Market-Place. The augmented agreement will allow our organizations to better fulfill our shared vision to best meet the evolving needs of GMercyU students. This is a logical next step in the evolution of our partnership and the entire team at Synergis is looking forward to working together to further shape the future of adult education.”
“The existing partnership with Synergis Education has helped us exceed many of our goals related to online programming,” said Dr. Kathleen Owens, President of GMercyU. “We’re excited about duplicating this success for our on-ground courses and also launching a unique program in Healthcare that helps us address a market need as well as the needs of our students. We are committed to offering the highest quality education that prepares our students for success in academia and beyond.”
